Wive is an art pop quintet from Minnesota formed in 2008 by former members of the art rock band A Whisper in the Noise . In 2010 the debut album Pvll was released.
Style and reception
Wive's music is characterized by its various influences; In addition to art pop and noise rock , folk and electronics are also among the audible styles that the quintet mixes in their songs.
The melodies are kept minimalistic and sparsely orchestrated, which gives them a luxurious atmosphere; you can read about this in goon magazine:
