Vyacheslav Wiktorowitsch Selujanow ( Russian Вячеслав Викторович Селуянов ; born December 15, 1986 in Ufa , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Rubin Tyumen in the Wysschaja Hockey League since July 2012 . His older brother Alexander is also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Vyacheslav Selujanow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Salawat Yulayev Ufa , for whose second team he was active from 2003 to 2007 in the third-rate Pervaya League . At the same time, he played from 2004 to 2006 for the club's professional team in the super league . In the 2006/07 season he was also in a game for HK Lada Tolyatti in the Super League on the ice. The 2007/08 season spent the defender exclusively at Toros Neftekamsk in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. For the 2008/09 season he returned to Salawat Julajew Ufa, which took part in the game operations of the newly founded Continental Hockey League . He scored one goal and four assists in a total of eleven games. He was also once on the ice for Ufa in the Champions Hockey League . After a year-long hiatus from ice hockey, he returned to the KHL for Salawat Yulayev Ufa in the 2010/11 season , but only played one game for the team. The entire remaining season he spent with his farm team Toros Neftekamsk in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League .

For the 2011/12 season Selujanow was committed by the KHL participant Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg and subsequently completed 46 KHL games for this. In July 2012, Selujanow moved back to the second division to Rubin Tyumen .
