Vladimir Fomichev ( Russian Владимир Фомичёв ) is a former Russian archery biathlete .
Vladimir Fomichev finished ninth in the mass start race of the Top 15 tournament in Pokljuka . At the 2001 European Championships in Pokljuka, he won the silver medal together with Yuri Ustinow , Maxim Menshikov and Andrei Markow with the Russian relay behind the representation of France and ahead of the Italians. He was even more successful at the 2001 World Championships in Kubalonka , where he was part of the victorious relay with Ivan Maslennikow , Menshikov and Markov. Fomitschow was able to repeat this success at the 2003 World Championships in Krün and win the title at the side of Igor Samoilow , Maslennikow and Markow.
