Vladimir Galkin is a former Soviet ski jumper .
Career
Galkin started at the Four Hills Tournament 1969/70 for his first and only international tournament. After a good 28th place on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf , he was not able to repeat this performance. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the Great Olympic Hill he landed in 72nd place, before he finished 51st on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck . He finished the tour with the 44th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen and thus reached rank 45 in the tour's overall ranking.
