Vladimir Ivanovich Nevsky

Vladimir Ivanovich Nevsky ( Russian Владимир Иванович Невский actually WI Kriwobokow / Феодосий Иванович Кривобоков * 14. May 1876 in Rostov-on-Don , † 26. May 1937 in Moscow ) was a Russian revolutionary, politician and historian.

In 1897 he became a member of the RSDLP , after the October Revolution he held various high offices. From 1925 to 1935 he was head of the Russian State Library in Moscow. In 1937 he fell victim to the Stalin purges .
