Wladimir Jurjewitsch Tarasow ( Russian Владимир Юрьевич Тарасов ; born March 21, 1968 in Novosibirsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian ice hockey player .

Career

From 1986 to 1991 Tarasov ran for Metallurg Novokuznetsk . In 1991 he moved to HK Lada Tolyatti . With Lada, the attacker became CIS champions in 1994 and 1996 . He also won the European Cup in 1996 . The defender then played for Severstal Tscherepowez , SKA Saint Petersburg and ZSK WWS Samara . Tarasov ended his career in Belarus with Chimik-SKA Nawapolazk .

International

Tarasov was in his country's squad at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer .
