Vladislav Borisovich Galkin

Wladislaw Borissowitsch Galkin ( Russian Владислав Борисович Галкин ; December 25, 1971 in Leningrad , † February 27, 2010 in Moscow ) was a Russian actor .

Galkin was born in Leningrad as the son of the actor Boris Galkin (* 1947) and Elena Demidova. He made his film debut in 1981 at the age of nine in the TV adaptation The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn , which was directed by Stanislav Sergeyevich Goworuchin . In 1991 Galkin married Svetlana Fomichev. He was married to the Russian actress Darja Mikhailova for the second time since 1998 and had no children of his own. Darja had a daughter from her first marriage.

On February 27, 2010, Galkin was found dead in his home. Aljaksandr Lukashenka praised Galkin in a letter of condolence "as an extremely talented person".
