Week of the Woman

Week of the Woman (official spelling: WOCHE der FRAU ) is a weekly German women's magazine . It has been published by Baden-Badener Sonnenverlag , a subsidiary of the Klambt media group , since 1999 .

It is assigned to the “market of entertaining women's magazines” and, like other titles in the rainbow press, reports primarily on European noble houses and other celebrities . Further main topics are fashion and beauty, health / medicine, vacation and travel, living, household and advice.

According to IVW 2/2020, Woche der Frau has a sold circulation of 101,811 copies. The issue price in stores is EUR 0.90 (as of 2015).

Litigation

The newspaper Woche der Frau , which belongs to the Klambt publishing group , reported in October 2004 about an allegedly imminent love wedding between Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Nikolaos of Greece. The woman's week denied after the comparison on the front page.

On November 24th of that year, the Swedish royal family announced a lawsuit against the Klambt media group. It's about no less than 500 cover pictures and 1,558 individual claims; a large part of the incriminated reporting appeared on "Die neue Frau". Swedish media reported that the royal family is demanding a total of 4.4 million euros in damages.

In March 2005, the Swedish royal family announced another lawsuit against the Klambt media group.
