Wohlendorf is a district of the town of Rethem (Aller) in the Heidekreis district in Lower Saxony .
The place, which was incorporated into Rethem on March 1, 1974, is on the L 200 state road . On the northern outskirts of Wohlendorf, the Alpe flows into the Aller shortly after it has absorbed the water from the Wölpe . To the north, on the other side of the Aller, are the Allerschleifen nature reserves between Wohlendorf and Hülsen and Allerniederung near Klein Häuslingen .
Three courtyards (No. 1, 13 and 20) and the Jewish cemetery are listed as architectural monuments ( see list of architectural monuments in Rethem (Aller) #Wohlendorf ). There are five tombstones in the cemetery, which is located at courtyard No. 23 and which was occupied from at least 1851 to 1891 .
