Woldemar von Klot ( Russian Владимир Андреевич Клот Vladimir Andreyevich Klot ; born October 10, jul. / 22. October 1827 greg. In Terebnja , Ujesd Borowitschskij , province Novgorod ; † June 23 . Jul / 5. July 1888 greg. In St. Petersburg ) was a Russian lieutenant general and wing adjutant of German Baltic descent.
Life
family
Woldemar was a member of the Baltic noble family von Klot . His parents were the Russian major general Woldemar von Klot (* 1786) and Alexandra Samarin. He married Sophia Alexejewa Koslow. The marriage resulted in a son Andreas (1866–1907).
Career
Woldemar von Klot was the commander of all Russian cavalry across the Balkans during the Russo-Turkish War .
