Wolf-Dieter Stubel (born December 17, 1941 in Cranz , East Prussia ) is a German radio presenter .

Life

Wolf-Dieter Stubel has worked as a radio presenter and editor since 1964 and was employed by Norddeutscher Rundfunk for over 30 years . He gained popularity as the presenter of the International Hit Parade , which was broadcast on NDR 2 between 1967 and March 25, 1989 (last broadcast) and ran on Radio NORA from 2005 to 2016 . The theme tune of the show is the instrumental title … and Then There Were Drums by Sandy Nelson . From 1985 to 2000 Stubel moderated the WDR 4 music pavilion and from 1990 to 2001 he ran various broadcast formats on NDR 1 Welle Nord . From September 2005 to April 2016 he worked for the private broadcaster Radio NORA, since May 2016 for Radio BOB! . The trademark of Stubel is the often quoted “Hello fans, hello friends”, with which he introduces his broadcasts. From 1974 onwards, “The tops are recovered” came regularly when the program was canceled. He is also a collector of Christmas stories by the fireplace, which were published in 24 volumes by Rowohlt Verlag .
