Wolf F. Fischer-Winkelmann

Wolf F. Fischer-Winkelmann (born May 7, 1941 in Augsburg ; † August 31, 2009 ) was a German economist .

Career

Fischer-Winkelmann first completed a banking apprenticeship, which he completed with distinction. He then studied at the universities of Munich and Erlangen-Nuremberg . In Nuremberg he passed the diploma examination for business school graduates and obtained his doctorate there in February 1972. rer. pole.

From 1969 to 1974 he worked at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as an assistant or teaching assistant. During this time he took over a substitute at the chair for business administration at the University of Frankfurt . In 1975 he qualified as a professor in Wuppertal for the subject of business administration and followed a call to the Bergische Universität Wuppertal . In 1980 he moved to the chair for general business administration, especially controlling, at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. Together with Gottfried Bähr , he published a number of standard textbooks.

In addition to his research and teaching activities, Fischer-Winkelmann was chairman of the Institute for Applied Economic Research (ifw) in Munich from 1991 . From 1985 he was a publicly appointed and sworn expert for company valuation and profit determination by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Munich and Upper Bavaria. In addition, he was a member of advisory boards and supervisory boards of various companies and worked as an expert for federal and state ministries.
