Wolfgang-Albert wing
Wolfgang-Albert Flügel (born June 27, 1949 in Berlin-Zehlendorf ) is a German geographer and professor of geoinformatics at the University of Jena .
From 1970, Flügel studied geography and hydrology as the main subject at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg , with geology, chemistry and ethnology as the minor subjects . After working as a research assistant in Freiburg, Heidelberg and South Africa, he is now the holder of the chair for geoinformatics, geohydrology and modeling at the Geographical Institute of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena .
His working group is involved in the BMBF- funded project The Future Okavango .
