Wolfgang Bruneder

Wolfgang Bruneder (* 1941 in Linz ) is an Austrian singing teacher and full professor for this subject at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna .

Live and act

Bruneder studied at the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Music. He then worked as a music teacher for the Vienna Boys' Choir and the Vienna Music School. He worked with the Wiener Singverein , the ORF choir, the Theater an der Wien choir and the Salzburg Festival choir .

In Vienna he headed the Antonio Salieri Institute for Singing in Music Education. He initiated the international choral seminar in Zell an der Pram , which he still directs today, as well as the Schola Cantorum choir association he founded in 1978 .
