Wolfgang Burr

Wolfgang Burr (born November 10, 1966 in Fürstenfeldbruck ) is a German economist and university professor .

Life

Burr completed a degree in economics and business administration at the universities of Nuremberg and Munich , which he graduated in 1991 with a degree in business administration. Then until 1995 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Organization of the Faculty of Business Administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. In 1995, Burr became a network competition in telecommunications. Opportunities and risks from the point of view of economic theory at Arnold Picot as a Dr. oec. publ. PhD.

After receiving his doctorate until his habilitation in 2001, Burr was a research assistant at the universities of Munich and Hohenheim . The habilitation took place in the field of business administration with Alexander Gerybadze with the work modularization, service depth design and system bundling for technical services . In 2001 and 2002, Burr held the chair for industrial management , especially production and logistics, at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and the chair for corporate management , especially organization and human resources, at the University of Hohenheim.

In 2002 Burr accepted the chair for innovation economics in the political science faculty of the University of Erfurt . In 2007, Burr accepted the chair for general business administration , innovation and service management at the University of Stuttgart .

Research priorities

Burr deals with innovation management and service innovation . He also researches licensing and patent management in private companies. Among other things, he is the author of several textbooks.
