Wolfgang Fach

Wolfgang Fach (* 1944 ) is a retired German political scientist .

Life

Subject studied political science, public law and sociology in Freiburg and Berlin from 1966 to 1970 . He received his doctorate from the University of Konstanz in 1972 and completed his habilitation in 1975. From 1975 to 1982 he was a university lecturer there until he was appointed professor for political and administrative sciences in 1983. In 1992 he moved to Leipzig University as a professor of political theory and the history of ideas . From 2002 to 2006 he was Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Philosophy and from 2006 Vice Rector for Teaching and Studies.
