Wolfgang Gartzke

Wolfgang Gartzke (born October 27, 1953 in Obermühlhausen , Landsberg am Lech district ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Gartzke attended the Thaining elementary school and the Landsberg grammar school , where he also graduated from high school. He then studied geodesy at the Technical University of Munich and graduated with a degree in surveying. He was then a research assistant at the University of the Federal Armed Forces and trainee lawyer. After the major state examination, he was a consultant at the Directorate for Rural Development in Ansbach in the field of land consolidation and chairman of participant communities.

In 1972 Gartzke became a member of the SPD, in 1990 he became district chairman in the city of Ansbach. From 1994 to 2003 he sat in the Bavarian state parliament .
