Wolfgang Hauber

Wolfgang Hauber (born August 30, 1959 in Weißenburg in Bavaria ) is a German police officer and politician ( Free Voters Bavaria ). He has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since the state elections in 2018 .

Life

After graduating from school, Wolfgang Hauber completed an apprenticeship at the Federal Border Guard from 1976 and also worked there for GSG 9 . He joined the Bavarian Police in 1985. After graduating from high school in 1992, he completed a course of study with a degree in administrative management (FH).

politics

Hauber has been a member of the Free Voter since 1990. He has represented his party in the Weissenburg City Council as parliamentary group leader since 2002. From 2008 to 2014 he was mayor there. He has held a mandate in the district council in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district since 2008. In the state elections in Bavaria in 2018, he received a mandate in the state parliament. In addition, Hauber is a member of the Committee for Public Service Issues and a member of the Committee for Municipal Issues, Internal Security and Sport.
