Wolfgang Heinze (politician)

Wolfgang Werner Heinze (born January 18, 1944 in Chemnitz ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). From 2004 to 2009 he was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament for one legislative period .

Life and work

After studying for a degree in agriculture at the Humboldt University in Berlin, the native of Chemnitz ended up in the Oderbruch region. He started out as a construction manager in the Seelow Melioration Cooperative. In the 1970s he became department head for agriculture, from 1978 to 1989 he was secretary for agriculture in the Seelow district. After reunification he took care of the marketing and sales of agricultural products in the region, and the Heinze name has been closely associated with trade fair activities in Frankfurt (Oder) since 1993 . Wolfgang Heinze was division manager of the municipal exhibition company.

Political party

His membership in the party Die Linke and his involvement in local politics is explained by his fundamentally social attitude and his desire that politics be made for the people . He would also like to contribute his skills and activities, especially in the areas of regional development, public transport , school development.

MP

Wolfgang Heinze has been active in the district parliament since 1978. Since 1993 he has been chairman of the Märkisch-Oderland district council . He is Germany's longest-serving district council chairman with a mandate from the Left.

Wolfgang Heinze was elected to the Brandenburg state parliament on September 19, 2004 as a direct candidate in the Märkisch-Oderland IV state constituency. After the state elections in 2009 , he left the state parliament.
