Wolfgang Kleiber (geodesist)

Wolfgang Kleiber (* 1943 ) is a German expert in property valuation .

Professional activity

Kleiber studied geodesy at the Technical University of Berlin with a degree in engineering. After working for the Deutsche Bundesbahn , the Hessian cadastral and surveying administration and in the university sector , he became a federal civil servant and became a ministerial advisor and head of the department for "Special Urban Planning Law of the Building Code, Land Policy and Valuation " in the then Federal Building Ministry (BMBau) and later Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS). In this function he was responsible for the German regulations for the valuation of real estate for many years.

He has written numerous publications and standard works on valuation. Kleiber is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He taught as a professor at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and was a lecturer at several other universities, e.g. B. the Bergische Universität Wuppertal and the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel .

After his retirement he founded the expert office VALEURO Kleiber und Partner. Kleiber is co-editor of the trade journal Grundstücksmarkt und Grundstückswert (GuG).
