Wolfgang Karl Leonhardt (born April 2, 1942 in Hanover ) is a German homeland researcher and author in Hanover.

Wolfgang Leonhardt grew up in Hanover. The trained insurance salesman dealt with the history of aviation early on and joined the Karl Jatho exhibition in 1993 . An aviation pioneer from Hanover at the Norddeutsche Landesbank -Girozentrale- on Georgsplatz first made public. As a member of the history working group in Vinnhorst and head of the working group District History List, he published on the history of the city of Hanover and in particular on the districts of Vinnhorst , List and Vahrenwald .

For his services to the capital of Lower Saxony , Wolfgang Leonhardt was honored with the Cord Borgentrick Stone on November 24, 2011 by the City of Hanover and the Lower Saxony Heimatbund .
