Wolfgang light

Wolfgang Licht (born November 1, 1938 in Leipzig ) is a German writer .

After attending primary school , he completed training as a chemical laboratory assistant . In the period from 1945 to 1949 he caught up with secondary school and graduated from the Sankt Petri School in Leipzig . After studying biology, he switched to medicine and earned the title of Dr. med. He worked as a specialist in gynecology . He started writing in 1972. His first novel Balance at Thirty-Four or The Marriage of Claudia M. was published in 1978 by Aufbau-Verlag .

Despite being invited, Licht never joined the GDR Writers' Association . Only after the reunification in the GDR did he become a member of the Association of German Writers (VS) . He was also a founding member of the cultural work of German writers in Saxony and now works on the board of the association.

Light lives in Bad Lausick .
