Wolfgang Pavlik

Wolfgang Pavlik (* 1956 in Vienna ) is an Austrian painter .

Life

Pavlik completed his studies from 1978 to 1985 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Anton Lehmden and Josef Mikl and lives and works in Vienna.

The work unites a form of overwhelming the viewer through delay. In the works pictures are created in pictures. "I take out a piece of 'time'". The fields and gaps in the pictures create the picture again with the experience of the viewer. The subject is broken for the view of the actual.
