Wolfgang Quies

Wolfgang Quies (born November 29, 1939 , † January 10, 2008 in Berlin ) was a German doctor and physiologist .

After studying human medicine , he received his doctorate in 1966 at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald , where he headed the Institute of Physiology from 1985 to 1990. He then worked as a general practitioner in a private practice in the Vogelsang-Warsin community in the northeast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

In addition to his professional work, he was also a volunteer vice president of the German Ido Society in the 1990s and 2000s .
