Wolfgang Rehner
Wolfgang Rehner (* 1962 in Sibiu , Transylvania ) is an Evangelical Lutheran pastor and has been Superintendent of the Evangelical Superintendent of Styria since September 1, 2018 .
Life
Wolfgang Rehner studied theology in Sibiu. After the vicariate and ordination in 1986 he took over the diaspora pastor in Bistrița (Bistritz) in Romania , later he moved to Cârța (Kerz). In 1996 he came to the Styrian parish of Ramsau , and since 2014 he has been the official pastor of the Evangelical parish in Salzburg Nördlicher Flachgau .
In March 2018 Rehner succeeded Hermann Miklas as Superintendent of the Evangelical Superintendent of AB Styria. elected. He is the seventh superintendent of Styria and has been in office since September 1, 2018. On September 23, 2018, he was introduced to his office by Bishop Michael Bünker .
Rehner is married and has three children. His grandmother comes from Graz , when she emigrated to Transylvania as a young woman.
