Wolfgang Richter (chess player)
Wolfgang Richter (born February 20, 1968 in Essen ) is a German chess player and holder of the title of International Master .
In 1989 he became the individual champion of blitz chess in North Rhine-Westphalia . In the German 1st Bundesliga he played for SG Bochum 31 in the 1991/92 season, for the Bielefelder SK in the 1992/93 season, and has played for FC Bayern Munich since the 2014/15 season . His Elo rating is 2387 (as of March 2016); his highest rating to date was 2465 from July 1993 to June 1996.
