Wolfgang Roick - SPD

Wolfgang Roick (born October 10, 1968 in Lauchhammer ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Brandenburg state parliament , the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district council and the Großräschen city ​​council .

After graduating from high school in 1987, Wolfgang Roick studied forestry at the Technical University of Dresden in Tharandt, taking the second state examination in 1998. He then joined the Brandenburg forest administration.

In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , he won the direct mandate in the state constituency Oberspreewald-Lausitz II / Spree-Neisse IV with 41.7%.

In the 6th legislature of the Brandenburg state parliament , Wolfgang Roick belonged to the SPD parliamentary group and was its environmental policy spokesman. In addition, Wolfgang Roick was chairman of the study commission 6/1 “The future of rural regions against the background of demographic change”.

In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , he won the direct mandate in the state constituency Oberspreewald-Lausitz II / Spree-Neisse IV with 30.1%.
