Erik Stohn (born December 20, 1983 in Luckenwalde , Potsdam district , GDR ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Brandenburg state parliament .

Life

Erik Stohn grew up in Jüterbog . After graduating from high school and completing his civil service, he studied law at the University of Potsdam with the second state examination in 2013. He then took up a position in the Bundestag administration.

politics

Stohn has been a member of the SPD since 2001. In Jüterbog he was a city councilor from 2003 to 2007. He is a member of the district council of the Teltow-Fläming district . In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , he won a direct mandate with 34.4% of the votes in the Teltow-Fläming II state electoral district .

At the state party conference on November 18, 2017, Stohn was elected General Secretary of the SPD Brandenburg with 70.4% of the delegate's votes.
