Wolfgang Sohm
Wolfgang Sohm (* 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian conceptual artist .
life and work
Wolfgang Sohm studied sculpture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna . His father and cameraman Willi Sohm introduced him to media art early on . He trained as a microcomputer specialist.
Since 1979 his works have included concepts, processes and interventions in media, social, virtual and public space. In addition to room-bound installations, his work Die Kollektiv Personality Weiß has been a continuous block of works that has been running since 1980, which is also based on methods of expanded cinema in various collaborations .
