Wolfgang Voit

Wolfgang Voit (* 1961 ) is a German lawyer. He is professor for civil law and civil procedural law at the Philipps University of Marburg .

Life

He studied in Passau. There he completed his habilitation in 1994 at the chair of Hans-Joachim Musielak on basic questions of the civil liability system, illustrated by the liability of the board of directors towards the ideal association. From 2001 to 2003 he was Vice President of the Philipps University in Marburg. He is the spokesman for the research center for pharmaceutical law, responsible for the additional qualification in pharmaceutical law and editor of the Marburg publications on health care . At the same time, he oversees the additional qualification in private building law and is co-editor of the building law series in the Nomos Verlag and a commentary on private building law in Beck-Verlag.

His research work focuses on civil procedural law , in particular on arbitration law , product and pharmaceutical liability law as well as contract law including private construction law.
