Wolfgang Waldmüller (born December 15, 1962 in Munich ) is a German politician ( CDU ). Since 2006 he has been a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Life

Waldmüller graduated from school from 1968 to 1980 and then trained as a car mechanic at Bayerische Motorenwerke until 1983 . He then did military service and then worked again at BMW as a car fitter until 1986. After further training as a business economist (VWA), he also graduated as a motor vehicle master craftsman in 1990. He then worked for BMW from 1990 to 1992 as sales manager for the Northeast region. From 1992 to 2008 he was an independent BMW dealer, then an independent real estate agent.

politics

Waldmüller was vice chairman of the Parchim region's employers' association from 1993 to 1997 and has been first chairman ever since. From 1999 to 2004 he was a member of the Parchim district council. From 2000 he was committee chairman for the finance and budget committee of the Parchim district. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2006 , he entered the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania through a direct mandate from constituency 31 ( Parchim I ) . In the 5th electoral period from 2006 to 2011 he was deputy chairman of the economic committee and also spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for economic policy and sport. In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2011 , he was able to defend his direct mandate. On October 24, 2011 he was elected deputy group chairman.

On April 8, 2017, he was elected Secretary General of the CDU regional association .
