Wolfgang Winkler (District Administrator)

Wolfgang Winkler (born September 7, 1902 in Breslau , † after April 1945 ) was a German mayor and district administrator .

Life

Winkler studied law in Breslau from 1921 . At the same time he was a member of the Corps Silesia . After completing his studies, he was an assessor in Naumburg (Saale) in 1929/30 and in Schneidemühl in 1933/34 . From 1935 he was mayor of Sorau . In April 1943 he was appointed as provisional and in December 1943 finally as district administrator of the Züllichau-Schwiebus district . He held both offices until the end of the war in 1945. He's been missing since then.
