In the computer game Wolf Pack is a submarine - Simulation of Nova Logic , which in 1990 was published.

Gameplay

The player either plays the role of a commander of the submarine - pack or ship convoys during the time of World War II in the Battle of the Atlantic . The computer takes on the role of the enemy. It is also possible to switch between different ships and submarines within your own association .

It is optionally possible to run the actions in real time or up to 32 times faster, for example to allow a ship to travel long distances in a short time.

The game thematizes a series of technological advances that occurred during World War II. Each mission takes place in a specific year of the war. In later years the player will have new, more advanced submarine classes available, for example offering greater underwater speed. Destroyers will receive radar and active sonar for submarine detection and Hedgehog anti-submarine weapons to complement the depth charges, cannons, and passive sonar used by previous destroyers.

Computer Gaming World gave the computer game two out of five stars. The magazine wrote that the claim that it was a precise simulation with unprecedented realism, as well as the claim that itsupported VGA graphicsin addition to the inputscreen,proved false. The computer magazine concluded its review by saying that "this reviewer does not consider WolfPack to have any real long-term sustainability", even though it is an entertaining computer game.
