Wolfram Christ (director)

Wolfram Christ (* 1963 in Breitenbrunn / Erzgebirge ) is a German filmmaker and book author.

Life

Wolfram Christ studied journalism in Leipzig. From 1987 he worked for GDR television in Berlin. From 1990 he worked as a freelancer for the television stations RIAS-TV , NDR , ZDF , MDR , arte and 3sat . In 1993 he founded his own production company with Wolfram Christ Film- und Fernsehproduktionen in Berlin and subsequently realized a series of reports and documentaries as a film producer and author in co-productions with other production companies , including documentaries for private clients such as the Goethe-Institut and the diocese Magdeburg and others.

In 1999 Christ moved to his old home in the Ore Mountains. In 2012, on the initiative of Susann Mädler and with her support, he founded the theater comediantes tour , which has since been touring Germany with theater productions, dinner shows, comedy and readings. Since then, Susann Mädler has been his most important partner in all artistic matters alongside his wife Uta Christ.

In 2016 Wolfram Christ expanded his range to include comediantes - publishing house for audio books and radio plays . In April 2017, the first three audio book productions appeared in cooperation with the Erzschlag recording studio in Aue.

In 2019 he and friends founded comediantes - publishing house for poetry and fiction of the 21st century with first publications in 2020.

Christ is married and has three children.
