Wolfram Klein (born September 8, 1968 in Breyell ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Klein , who came from the association league club Preussen Krefeld , had his first appearance in German professional football in the 2nd Bundesliga with Wuppertaler SV from 1992 to 1994. After relegation to the regional league, he moved to league rivals Rot-Weiss Essen and played there until 1998. In this Time managed to return to the second division. In the 1998/99 season, Klein first played for FC Remscheid in the Regionalliga West / Südwest ; During the winter break he moved to league rivals Alemannia Aachen , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 2000/01 season he ended his professional career at Fortuna Düsseldorf . During the winter break he left the club and from January 2001 played in the Oberliga Nordrhein for SV Straelen .
