Wolfram Lohschütz

Wolfram Lohschütz (born March 3, 1962 in Bad Kissingen ) is a German violinist .

Life and artistic work

At the age of seven, Lohschütz was accepted into the Würzburg University of Music under Professor Gerd Hoelscher and won several prizes at Jugend musiziert .

After graduating from high school and studying music in the master class with Professor Igor Ozim in Cologne and Bern, he received a scholarship to study with Dorothy DeLay in New York.

Wolfram Lohschütz has been 1st violinist with the Munich Philharmonic since 1990 and has since developed a lively chamber music activity. He founded the Lenbach Quartet in 2004 and is a member of the Philharmonic Soloists, the Philharmonic String Trio and the Chamber Orchestra of the Munich Philharmonic.

He lives with his family in Eichenau .
