Wolfram Meyer

Wolfram Meyer (born December 27, 1931 in Karlsruhe ; † June 13, 2000 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Meyer studied economics, was a qualified business teacher and headed the Ludwig-Erhard-Schule in Karlsruhe . From 1965 to 1994 he was a member of the Karlsruhe City Council. From 1978 he was deputy chairman of the CDU city council group. From 1984 to 1996 Meyer sat in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . He was directly elected in all three elections in the Karlsruhe II state electoral district.

Wolfram Meyer was a member of the regional association Middle Upper Rhine , the administrative board of the Badisches Staatstheater , board member of the St. Vincentius-Verein Karlsruhe, administrative board member of Sparkasse Karlsruhe and supervisory board member of the Karlsruhe congress and exhibition company . For 18 years he was chairman of the Weiherfeld Dammerstock Citizens' Association.

Honors

In 1996 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class. In 1990 he received the Medal of Honor from the City of Karlsruhe .
