Wolkersfelden is a residential area in the Niederstetten district of Wildentierbach in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1325 as Wolkersvelden . Wolkersfelden was originally from Hohenlohe. In 1350 the place was mentioned as an accessory by Lichtel. In 1435 the place was owned by Count Wilhelm von Castell, who then sold the place to a citizen of Rothenburg. From this the place came again in 1465 to the imperial city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber .

The living space came to the city of Niederstetten on February 1, 1972 as part of the formerly independent community of Wildentierbach.
