Volodymyr Braschnyk
Volodymyr Braschnyk ( Ukrainian Володимир Бражник , English transcription Volodymyr Brazhnyk; born September 27, 1924 in Lyubotyn ; † January 29, 1999 in Moscow ) was a Ukrainian pole vaulter who started for the Soviet Union .
In 1951 he won the World Festival of Youth and Students . At the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki, he finished seventh, and at the World Festival of Youth and Students, he won bronze.
In 1951 and 1953 (with his personal best of 4.30 m) he was Soviet champion.
