Wood Ridge is an 11 km long, flattened and icy mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Southern Cross Mountains it extends north-south between the Campbell and the Styx glaciers .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1955 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Vernon P. Wood, a member of the winter teams at McMurdo Station in 1963 and 1967.
