Woodchester is a village of around 1200 in Gloucestershire south of Stroud .

There are also traces of Roman times on site . One of them is the Roman villa near Woodchester .

Personalities

Eddie "the Eagle" Edwards lives in the village. In 1987 he took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships as a ski jumper .
