geography
The Woodford Hill River rises in the area of Constant Spring at an altitude of approx. 100 m above sea level . The headwaters belong to the same aquifer as the tributaries of the Mamelabou River (west) and the Toulaman River (Tweed River, east). The river initially flows in a wide arc to the northeast through the Subaina , Water Mill areas in the direction of Wesley , but then bends more strongly to the north and flows through Woodford Hill to Woodford Hill Bay (La Taille Bay), where after a course of approx. 8 km flows into the Atlantic . In the Woodford Hill area it receives several tributaries from the left and west from the Champagne area , as well as from Woodford Hill Lake ( ⊙ ). It also grazes the catchment area of the small Eden River to the east.
