action

Gino Gadari is the epitome of a sportsman and bon vivant who is always on the lookout for new adventures. One day he met the young Liane Serano in a very unusual way, who was visiting her uncle, the banker Alberto Dorna. Dorna recently fell into the clutches of an internationally active card-cheater and impostor who has already stolen a large part of his fortune. Gino has now found his adventure: because he likes the previously rather brittle liana very much and he wants to win her heart, he wants to help her uncle to put the handicrafts of this super crook. And so he first gains access to the casino in which Dorna was tricked. There he met the greatest crook of the century named Aristide Trasymopolus. He is slick and demands from banker Dorno that he should pledge his entire villa furnishings to settle his remaining gambling debts. To prevent this, Gino calls some of his clubmates who are supposed to help him move the furniture from the banker's villa and store it before midnight before the greasy Trasymopolus can stretch his fingers for it.

Although Gino explains the circumstances of his deed to his beloved Liane, he is suddenly mistaken for a burglar and furniture thief and the police are set on the bon vivant. En passant Gino briefly “kidnaps” Liane in order to explain all his motivations face to face to her. Gino then has to flee from the police, but eventually falls into the hands of the state. However, he does manage to free himself. Then he goes in search of Liane, which has since disappeared without a trace. It has fallen into the hands of Trasymopolus, who, since the inventory of the villas has gone through his fingers, is now holding onto Liane and wants to sell it off to a girls' dealer ring. Liane is to be taken out of the country with the next ship. Gino now has to intervene as quickly as possible, and with some of his friends he storms into the harbor, enters the ship and is able to free Liane from the clutches of the criminals. The girl previously had to write a check on Trasymopolus, which includes all of her inheritance. Trasymopolus and his accomplices are handed over to the police, and at the end of this adventure Gino Gadari can even be sure of the affection of the rescued young lady.
