Lydia Potechina
Lydia Potechina (born September 5, 1883 in Saint Petersburg , † April 7, 1934 in Moscow ) was a Russian actress .
Life
She attended the imperial theater school in Saint Petersburg around 1900. After that she performed on Russian stages for years. During the Revolutionary Wars, she fled to Berlin in 1919 .
Here she soon came to German film. She appeared in numerous films, including many comedies. Often Potechina played a mother or mother-in-law. She was married to the UFA producer Max Pfeiffer (1881-1947).
