Max Pfeiffer

Max Pfeiffer (born April 25 . Jul / 7. May  1881 greg. In St. Petersburg , Russian Empire ; † October 1947 ) was a native of Russia German film producer .

Life

Pfeiffer played in theaters in Saint Petersburg, Kiev and Odessa . As a result of the October Revolution , he emigrated to Berlin in 1919 . Here he founded the German-Russian cabaret The Blue Sarafan .

He established at the beginning of the 1920s contacts to the film production and worked first as a factotum for Carl Froelich and as a manager for Fritz Lang , whose The tired death , he also took a small role.
