The Woodroffe River or Gordon Creek is a non-year-round water-bearing river in the east of the Australian Northern Territory and in the west of Queensland .
geography
River course
The river has its source in the desert in the east of the Northern Territory, around 35 kilometers south of Scar Hill , and flows east. It crosses the border into Queensland and flows into the Georgina River at Urandangi .
Tributaries with mouth heights
- Sandover River - 300 m
The Sandover River does not flow directly into the Woodroffe River. In very wet years, water overflows from its infiltration point at Argadargala about 50 kilometers to the east into the Woodroffe River.
