World Badminton Grand Prix 1984 (final)
The final of the 1984 World Badminton Grand Prix took place in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia from December 12th to 16th . It was the final competition of the Grand Prix series of the past season and the second edition of the World Badminton Grand Prix ever. The prize money was $ 70,000. At the first three events of the WBGP from 1983 to 1985, in contrast to the later tournaments, only the men's and women's singles were held. From 1987 the three double disciplines men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed were added.
