World Classic Rockers

The World Classic Rockers (short WCR ) are a rock - Supergroup , which in 1995 by Nick St. Nicholas of the rock band Steppenwolf was founded. The line-up changed constantly, depending on the availability of the individual musicians.

The WCR's first appearance was on December 10, 1995 in Fort Lauderdale , Florida . The members at the time were, besides St. Nicholas (bass, vocals), Bobby Kimball from Toto (vocals) and Joey Molland von Badfinger (guitar, vocals), with Richard Ward (keyboards), Rosilee (vocals), Mike Younce (drums) and Kurt Griffey (guitar) as an additional band musician. The three joined Mike Pinera and his Classic Rock All-Stars to take part in the Harley-Davidson Toys for Tots Tour.

Over time, such well-known musicians as Denny Laine , Donovan , John Fiddler , Spencer Davis and Aynsley Dunbar , to name a few , played at the WCR .
