Team WE , formerly known as World Elite , is a Chinese e-sports - Clan headquartered in Shanghai . In the real-time strategy game Warcraft III, WE is one of the most successful teams in the world. The team has several top placements in the WC3L and in the NGL ONE . The squad includes two-time World Cyber Games winner Li "Sky" Xiaofeng .
Team WE was founded in 2005. Initially, the Warcraft III team consisted of Chinese and Korean players. In 2007 the Korean part left the clan for SK Gaming . WE managed to assert itself as a purely Chinese team in the world elite. On May 10, 2008, Pepsi became the new main sponsor.
