Vostok-2018 ( Russian Восток-2018 "East 2018") was a military maneuver by the armed forces of Russia with the participation of the Mongolian armed forces and the Chinese People's Liberation Army in September 2018. The maneuver took place from September 11 to 17, 2018.

On the Russian side, forces from the Eastern and Central Military Districts, the Northern Fleet , the airborne troops, and the air and space forces took part. According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , the participation of 297,000 soldiers, more than 1,000 aircraft, up to 36,000 vehicles (tanks, armored vehicles and other vehicles) and up to 80 ships was planned on the Russian side. Western intelligence services thought these numbers were excessive. They numbered around 25,000 soldiers, 7,000 vehicles and 250 combat aircraft and helicopters. On the Chinese side, 3,000 soldiers and several dozen aircraft and helicopters took part. The Chinese units were also supported by a small contingent of Mongolian troops .

According to Sergei Shoigu, it was the largest exercise since Sapad 81 in 1981, 37 years earlier. A visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the maneuver took place on 13 September.
